  Couldn’t recommend Wilderness Ventures more. A beautiful camper with absolutely everything you need for an amazing Scottish adventure. Aija is such a lovely host and had prepared everything in the van with easy instructions, and was really flexible with the timings of our flights. We loved every second of our trip - thank you!

  Ayia has been an absolute dream to book with, lots of suggestions and places to see. Nomad was a great adventure van with plenty of room and a whole bunch of mod cons to make our week in a van super comfortable. We toured the NC500 and a trip to the Isle of Skye and have loved every minute of it, highlight was parked up with the rear doors open enjoying a beverage and watching the sun set. It really is a fantastic van and again so comfortable and easy to use!
Best Honeymoon we could've hoped for, thank you for making it stress free and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to get into the wilderness!!

  Just spent 10 days doing the NC500 in Nomad. Just one man and two Goldies. The van was perfect for our needs, well laid out, all the facilities we needed and in excellent condition. Everywhere we went we got comments from other campervanners on how well it was done. Aija could not do any more to keep me informed, updated and informing me on how things work. Even came out to Ullapool to fix heater. Can't praise her enough. Would definitely use WilderNess Ventures again when I next do the NC500.

  Had a great time hiring Nomad for 9 nights. It is well equipped and comfortable. Aija and Cole were at hand to answer queries and sort problems out. We completed the NC500 easily with a new vista every morning. Thank you for everything.

  We had the most amazing adventure around the NC500 in Cole and Aija’s van.  We have such incredible memories and their van was the centre of them all.  We felt so at home in the van even in the wildest spots and at times some extreme Scottish weather.  Aija and Cole were always available and quick to respond if we had any questions on route.  We loved Scotland and want to return to explore more of it and will 100% use WilderNess Ventures again if we can.  Thank you Cole & Aija

  Where do I start, an amazing time away in Scotland touring with Nomad. Everything about the layout was well thought out and the van was well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing off the grid experience. WNV are on hand at all times to answer any questions you may have from booking and all the way through your holiday. If you are thinking about booking with WNV then you won't be disappointed.

  We had the best adventure touring the Highlands of Scotland in this Wilderness Venture camper van. We stayed in campsites but the vehicle is capable of being entirely off grid with its own electricity, heating, hot water, toilet and shower. The owners were very responsive and helpful with any queries we had whilst out on our adventure. The scenery was truly breathtaking and would recommend everyone to make the trip. A real  sense of freedom on the open road in this cool machine 😎

  We were so grateful to Aija and Cole for being available to us on the phone for the whole of our trip, as it was our first campervan trip! It was a great trip and perfect for our dogs to come along on the adventure with us. The campervan is very spacious and comfortable and it has everything you need. We will definitely be rebooking.

Me and my pup Narah love escaping from everyday grind and spend all our time outdoors hiking and chasing the next waterfall. Wilderness is what fuels us. It stimulates the senses and is host of natures most calming sounds. It’s where we turn when we need a restart and I truly believe it will do same for you!

We love to travel Scottish Highlands in campervan as much as we can and with every trip away, we have turned our mean green beast into a comfortable off-grid living space for humans and their pups.

We are passionate about responsible wild camping and hope to promote the benefits of travelling the wilder side of Highlands.

Scottish Highlands is a popular tourist destination. While you are visiting to explore stunning views it has to offer, this is our home and to make sure our local nature stays clean and healthy, we have enforced a strict “leave no trace policy” to follow Highlands outdoor code: “Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints”

Also while our van is on the road we use the time to clean up wild camping sites and plant trees with every booking made.
